Hi friends, it's Ruby again and I wanted to share some pawsitive vibes with you!
When my human friends aren't home I tend to get a little bored and anxious and since they don't like it when I scratch the trim around the doors, I came up with a way to occupy my mind and stay positive that I'd like to share with you.
First of all pups, I just wanted to acknowledge that it's totally ok to feel anxious or sad when we're home alone. But, it's important not to stay in that mindset and to distract yourself with a nap or have a good chew on a toy. Plus, think about how awesome it is when our friends come home and they always seem so excited to see us! I love to see their smiling faces and they always have all kinds of different smells on them. Sometimes when I give them the glamour stare (you know the one you do with your eyes), they can't resist and I get extra treats.
I'm always on the lookout to attract good vibes into my home and I found that using daily positive affirmations helps to sort of rewire my system so that I can exist in a more calm and joyful way. Take a look at the photo of Treever (below) after I taught him a few affirmations - I think the picture says it all.
